Ludo

A mountain of orange fur with a heart to match, and the rocks themselves answer when he calls.

Sarah found Ludo strung up by goblins who thought tormenting a gentle giant was good sport. She cut him down, and from that moment he was her friend for life. Ludo looks like the monster the Labyrinth warns you about and is nothing of the kind: slow, sweet, and loyal to the end.

He speaks in a few rumbling words at a time, calls himself Ludo the way a toddler might, and hides one enormous talent: when Ludo howls, the rocks of the Labyrinth come rolling to help him. An entire goblin army once learned this the hard way.

  • "Ludo. Friend." That is most of what he says, and all of what matters.
  • His name likely comes from the board game on the shelf in Sarah's bedroom.
  • He is one of the few residents of the Labyrinth who never served Jareth at all.
